Conference will be divided 2 parts and a more detailed and active discussion will be exchanged with the theme of “disaster prevention, safety and recovery” in the future. In this session, the latest research results and presentations by disaster experts and researchers will be introduced. Disaster research and how its countermeasures should be carried out will be discussed.

In this session, in order to deepen exchanges between afflicted people from the Chuetsu area and people from other places, experiences of the earthquake and countermeasures for recovery will be discussed. This session will be viewed as the 2nd Earthquake Afflicted Citizens’ Summit – the 1st Summit was held in Kawaguchi Town in 2008.
